Volunteers

Emily Bittel-web.png
Emily Bittel - Donation Tracking & Inventory

Emily’s desire to help moms of little ones grew as she started raising her own two little girls. In the “thick of it” herself, she is excited to be a part of a ministry that serves the families in her community in Jesus’ name. She loves helping ease the burden for other parents and being an encouragement to them. She’s been married to Jason since 2011 and together, they love hobby board gaming, hiking, and watching their girls discover the world.

Grace and her husband, Arthur, have been married since January 2017 and have a son and two daughters. They attend Hoodview Church of God in Woodburn. Grace enjoys baking, tea, the coast, and going on walks. Grace is a prayerful mama who is excited to join this ministry and we’re blessed to have her!

Julianne 1 (1)_edited.jpg
Julianne Paul - Grant Writer

Julianne Paul and her husband, Mike, have been married for 43 years. She taught in Salt Lake City at schools where families lived in poverty and often did not speak English. She saw firsthand the effects of poor nutrition on very young children. Along with the rest of the dedicated staff at those schools, she worked with students to help them overcome some of the problems they faced. Sadly, there are no interventions for some of these nutrition-related problems. Julianne retired five years ago and moved to Dallas for a better climate and a quieter lifestyle. Their four adult children loved visiting them so much that they all moved to Oregon (along with her sweet little grandson). Julianne’s new neighbor invited her to the Bambinos Fundraising Auction and she realized this was a chance to make a difference. She and her husband became Bambinos Builders, and now Julianne also helps write grants for additional funding Bambinos counts on to make their services available for all who need them. She considers it a rewarding opportunity and a real joy to work with the rest of the dedicated staff at Bambinos.

Robyn Cooksey, Office Cleaning

Robyn has been married to her husband, Nathan since 2006. Their family attends Bridgeport Church. They have a heart for the community, especially for the hurt and the broken, and have experienced some of the common struggles, yet have come out stronger with the Lord's help. They are currently raising four young men of all ages. She loves to spend time with her family. Robyn cleans houses on the side and loves the outdoors, reading, and hobby photography. Her heart is passionate for Biblical truths and has experienced the power of prayer.

She was volunteering in our office for a while, and then COVID. It changed a lot of the dynamics with school time and office time for several of our mamas. But Robyn was determined to still give to this ministry and offered to start cleaning the office for us. She has always been willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed here.
