The move was a success!

We couldn't have done it without the many, Many, MANY volunteer hours. Well over 100 hours, in fact! Our supporters showed up in a BIG way. If we started listing all the volunteer names, we'd be sure to miss some, but we do need to give a special thanks to Jackson Basey Construction for donating work time to help us move the really heavy stuff. Also, special thanks to Tyler Peters, Kevin Wicker, and Shane Dunaway for assembling our crazy hard to assemble cubicles! And a HUGE thanks to the Lois Whitaker family, who saw a need for Bambinos to have a bigger space and decided to help make that happen. We officially open our doors on Monday, September 19 at 9am! Please also mark your calendars. We plan on having an Open House to show the finished product on Saturday, October 29. Time TBA.


If you missed it on Facebook, we lost one of our own last week. Here is what was posted: It is with deepest sadness that we share that our sweet Julianne passed away Friday morning. She was such a blessing to this ministry and she will be deeply missed. Please keep her family, especially her husband, Mike, in your prayers. Bambinos will always LOVE Julianne.

F.A.Q. Q: What if I can’t fill my table? A: Please place the words “available seat” in as the guest name, your phone number, and then a meal choice. Then please contact April Chapman at, and let her know how many empty spots are at your table. Q: What if my table guest changes their meal choice after I have entered it? A: April will be contacting everyone by Labor Day for final choices. Q: What if I need to switch a table guest from who was originally entered? A: Please contact April at, with any changes. No changes will be made after September 16th. Q: What if I can't afford to sponsor a whole table? A: We strongly encourage you to go in on a table sponsorship with a friend group. If that doesn't work for you, please contact April at She will reach out to table sponsors with extra seating available to help coordinate. Also! We need gift cards for our auction! Do you have extra gift cards lying around you know you won't use? Do you own a business and have the ability to donate a gift card or two? Do you have some extra funds to purchase a gift card or two to donate to our auction? Thank you so much for your ongoing support! We are pleased to share that as of the writing of this letter, we have served over 100 new children just since our last auction! This brings our families served since 2008, to over 500 families (this includes over 800 children)!

We would greatly appreciate your attendance at this exciting event! Table sponsorship can be purchased for $300.00. As with last year, we will not be selling individual tickets this year. Table sponsorship includes advertising, plus appetizers, salad, entrée, and dessert. Coffee, tea, and water will be served, and a no-host bar will also be available.

Our theme this year is, “The Harvest is Great.” Our ministry has been EXTREMELY busy with formula shortages and the ongoing after-effects of supply chain issues due to COVID. We, however, have had neither a shortage of supplies nor of clients who have expressed great need, both physically and spiritually. In turn, our greatest need is for volunteers to join us in the work we’re doing. We recognize that you may not be called to volunteer in our office, but if you pray, we ask that you join us as we pray, according to Luke 10:2, that “the Lord of the harvest…would send laborers into his harvest.” Did you catch that? It’s HIS harvest. Not ours. That’s a comfort for us. He sees the need, so we can have confidence that He will supply the workers if we ask Him.
