Glenda Dunaway became an office volunteer with Bambinos in June of 2017. She served as our Community Outreach coordinator during that time, as well as Secretary for our Board of Bambinos. In October 2019, she was asked to take over the role of Executive Director. She also served as Board President until 2026. She is an adoptive mama of three beautiful humans and has a real heart for moms who find themselves in a situation where their kiddos must enter DHS care. Glenda is passionate about praying with moms who come into the office. Besides being a homeschool mom, who recently graduated her first Senior, she has been happily married to her hubby, Shane, since 2001. Their family attends Community Life Church in Monmouth. For fun, Glenda loves going to Central Oregon and the Oregon coast, and also loves to thrift.

Lynnette Anderson
Executive Assistant & Bookkeeping
Lynnette Anderson has lived in Dallas since 2013 and has worked as a Bambinos volunteer, both in the office and serving on the Board of Directors since 2016. She volunteers for CASA as well. Lynnette is married to Kirk, and together, they have three kids. They also own and operate Anderson Clan Inc. Commercial Thinning. Lynnette and her family worship at Dallas Foursquare where Kirk serves as worship leader. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoys baking and reading.

Chloie Basey
Event Coordinator
Chloie loves living in a small community and has lived in the Dallas area for over 30 years. She and her husband got married right out of high school and have been going strong since 2011. They love Jesus, the beautiful little girl they have together, and the friendships they have cultivated in this community. In her spare time, she likes to read, cook, and be creative (in any way). She became the Treasurer of the Board of Directors in mid-2019, moving to President this year. Her heart to make Bambinos a welcoming place is felt from the minute you walk through the doors. She is always looking for ways to help our families relax and enjoy their time with us.

Emily Bittel
Hospitality Coordinator
Emily has been volunteering in various capacities at Bambinos since 2022. She is a wife and homeschool mom to two little girls. She is involved in kids and small group ministries at Grace Church in Dallas. Their family enjoys spending time outdoors together and hunting down books at the library. She loves the opportunity to encourage and serve moms in the community at Bambinos.

Alison Johnson
Church Liaison
Alison is an (almost) lifelong resident of Dallas. Alison has volunteered with Bambinos since 2022 in the office and then behind the scenes in an ongoing capacity. Alison went to college after graduating from Dallas High and obtained her criminal justice degree. She now works in ministry at a local church. As a former struggling single mom, she has a big heart for helping families and children in need and wants to see them thrive. She and her husband married in 2011 and have 5 children.

Mellisa Spivey

Mellisa Spivey is deeply rooted in her community and passionate about creating meaningful connections. She and her husband, Rob, have been married for 25 years and raised three beautiful children in Dallas, Oregon, where they’ve lived for over two decades. Their family attends Salem First Baptist Church, where faith and fellowship continue to shape Mellisa’s approach to life and leadership.
She works full-time as a Commercial Insurance Producer at Orr & Associates Insurance, bringing eight years of experience and a strong commitment to client care. Her background also includes fundraising work with Faith Christian School, and she’s recently been involved in supporting Bambinos auction events—grateful for the opportunity to help and looking forward to contributing to future fundraising efforts.
Outside of work, Mellisa enjoys spending time with her family, diving into a good book, and savoring life’s simple joys—especially coffee and chocolate.
