COMMUNITY CONNECTION - Sept 2021, Vol 2, Week 1

COMMUNITY CONNECTION SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN NEED

Sept 2021 | Vol.2 | Week 1

AUCTION & DINNER! SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th ----- COVID UPDATE -----

First of all, some business to address: As of Friday, 8/26/21, Governor Brown updated the mask mandate to include outdoor crowded venues. We want to assure all of our guests that we still plan to hold our event. The mandate clearly outlined crowded venues like concerts and sporting events. Our event will basically be spaced and run like an outdoor restaurant and so we will operate as such. We plan to have our caterers serve our guests behind plexiglass and as previously outlined in our last email, will ask our guests to mask and sanitize before going through the food line. We will dismiss by table. We will have a large area to mingle while safely distanced away from the tables. And now for some fun: We have already sold nineteen tables! We were planning to have 20, but can have as many as 25 to stay comfortably spaced, so we'll keep table sales open a bit longer. We have so many fun things planned for the evening, including Heads or Tails, Paddle Raise, and a Gift Card Balloon Pop. Our LIVE auction will have fabulous items, like a cedar chest, Self-Care and Beauty Baskets, a Beach Getaway, which includes an overnight stay at the Hallmark Inn in Newport, a Sweetheart Package, including a 2-night stay at the Independence Hotel, a Family Fun Basket, and an Aquatic Center Basket, just to name a few. In addition to this, the wine pull was such a success last year, we are not only bringing that back, but have added a whiskey pull as well! We're so excited to have you! Reserve your table now!
