As 2021 comes to a close, and I'm crunching numbers this afternoon, I'm so excited to share some wonderful highlights with you, our supporters, and friends. Bambinos have been absolutely overwhelmed with the generosity of our community in t
hese tough times. Businesses and individuals have shown up in a really big way. Our 2021 Banquet and Auction raised about $22,000.00 for us to run operations next year. This is roughly 75% of our annual need. That's HUGE!! In November & December alone, we received about $5000.00 worth in cash and in-kind donations!! Because of this generosity (much of it completely anonymous), we were able to do something we have never done before -- Baby Shower Gift packs for ALL babies born in November and December whose mamas were registered with us. We were even able to help a few others that needed extra care this Christmas season.
Finally, as of the writing of this newsletter on 12/30/21, we have given out...
559 packs of diapers
500 packs of wipes
153 cans of formula
118 other baby food items
79 blankets
266 pieces of (gently used and thoroughly cleaned) baby equipment
5 brand new car seats
22 other safety items
22 other toiletries/misc. items
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for backing us as we endeavor to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Polk County. It has been our goal to never turn someone away asking for help and we haven't had to even once. Praying that 2022 will be just as bright and hope-filled as 2021 has been! Happy New Year! Glenda J.
