Board of Directors
Glenda Dunaway, Executive Director
Glenda has been an office volunteer and Board Member since 2017. She became the Board Secretary in 2018. She is an adoptive mama of three, and has a real heart for moms who find themselves in a situation where their kiddos must enter DHS care. Glenda is passionate about praying with moms who come into the office. She has been happily married to her hubby, Shane, since 2001. Besides being a busy home school mom, she and Shane are converting a school bus they hope to live in next year. She loves coffee dates with friends and spending time in the high desert or at the beach. Their family attends Catron Street Fellowship in Monmouth.
Tobey Houser, Secretary
Tobey joined Bambinos in 2019. She is a long-term resident of Dallas. During her college years, she spent time both overseas and in our local community helping children in hard times. Tobey brings a wealth of knowledge to our board, having worked in the domestic violence and sexual assault field for many years. She has worked with teams that incorporate DHS, mental health services, public schools, suicide prevention and law enforcement. Tobey and her husband married in 2010 and have two little men in school that are her world. They worship at Salem Alliance. In her spare time, Tobey loves to spend time in her garden or be at the beach with some coffee.
Chloie Basey, Treasurer
Chloie has been with Bambinos since 2018. She loves living in a small community and has lived in Dallas for 26 years. She and her husband got married right out of high school and are still going strong. They have a beautiful three-year old little girl. They attend Grace Church and love the friendships they have cultivated there. In her spare time, she likes to read, cook and be creative (in any way). She became the Treasurer of the Board of Directors in mid-2019.
Brooke Stuller, Volunteer Coordinator
Brooke has been an office volunteer and Board Member for Bambinos since 2012. She has a huge heart for families experiencing poverty, addiction, and/or domestic violence in their homes. If you visit our office on Tuesdays, prepare to stay a while to talk with Brooke. She will give you every possible resource available to meet your needs! She is also a mother, grandmother, and board member for Dallas Christmas Cheer! Brooke and her daughter are members at Grace Church in Dallas.
Michaela Peters, Car Seat Clinician
Michaela and Beth Jones (Founder) became acquainted in 2011 when Michaela’s family needed help with diapers for additional kids they were caring for. Shortly thereafter, she joined Bambinos as an office volunteer and Board Member. In addition to caring for the needs of her husband and their three children, Michaela is always meeting the needs of those she encounters. A caregiver by nature, she is currently a childcare provider and a perfect fit for us at Bambinos! In the past, she has also volunteered at one of our local clothing closets and in recovery support groups in Dallas. Her family worships at Salem Alliance Church.
Heather Seals, President
Heather Seals is our Director. Beth Jones asked Heather to join the Bambinos team in 2017 because of their mutual compassion for young women facing motherhood and all the struggles that surround it. Heather has unique qualifications and experiences in infant massage and mother/child bonding. She is also educated in the identification and treatment of domestic violence. In addition to Bambinos, Heather serves as the leader of Classical Conversations in Dallas. She and her family attend Grace Church.
